We recently launched Piktobot.com where you may find awesomized goods from designers and developers for designers and developers! Featuring our very first product Mockd. It’s an Apple iPhone UI mock up toolkit from @emred with love for you designers out there.

Mockd will be updated regularly. That means, there will be a Mockd 2, 3 and maybe 10.000 including recent UI trends and new patterns. Stay tuned.

We believe in Science!

Arian Behzadi is currently a Biological Sciences major with an emphasis in Ndollarbiology, Physiology, and Behavior at UC Davis. In between classes, however, he does personal and commissioned visual design work. He has always found parallels between art and the sciences so a lot of his studies find their way into his artwork. Aside from design work, he’s a research assistant at the Carraway/Sweeney Cancer Lab and an intern at the Same Day Surgery Center at the UCD Medical Center. Which is pretty awesome for our consideration.

It’s been a great -one and a half month- journey with you guys and you did really great, thank you! We keep growing everyday with new talents, While we grow we did little improvements on the way and tweak the site a bit ass well.

With recent updates, now Screenfunk is getting some social tools/tricks. We’re keeping them closed inside our artist network for beta testing and planning wide range of use cases for future, so stay updated for some incoming news.

Now we got the almighty “cool” button in every single screen so you can appreciate others work, it’s kind of a ”like” button with a cooler name. And the “cool” and “view” counts for every screen in bottom-left for number/math lovers and statistics geeks.

Also we got the “activity feed” at the right side of some pages to keep you up to date about what’s cookin’ in Screenfunk network. Check that out too.

Hello monday heroes;

Past couple of weeks were pretty busy for us. While working on new features and catching up with sweet feedback off of you, some new illustrators and designers created their channels at Screenfunk universe.

Let’s start with a big hug for the awesome Stick-A-Thing from Berlin also known as S___A___T. Check out their channel for some serious eyecandy. Welcome Guasco Riccardo aka “Rik”- who is a cartoonist, an illustrator and a painter - with his beautiful wallpapers just for your screens available at his channel. You should better not miss Orka Collective’s indians and lovely detailed artwork. Beware of Mostasho one of our featured artists and his wallpapers, which are known to be highly addictive and fuzzy. Another talented artist Michael B. Myers Jr. aka “drawsgood” and his retro “Dark Knight” wallpaper’s for all the Batman lovers (everybody?) out there. Anca Sangadji aka Malonahuai is also one of our new artists from Indonesia with his pretty wild illustrations.
